Gender scan

Accurate determination of the baby's gender is possible at or after 20 weeks gestation.

Using ultrasound a female fetus will show three parallel bright white lines within the genital area.

The male fetus will express a round bulbous area within the genital area which is the scrotum and penis.

This is accurate in 97% of cases.
